- These positions work in a very fast paced environment.

- Must have English reading and verbal communication skills sufficient to read, understand and communicate company operating procedures and policies.

- Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.

- Must be able to demonstrate math proficiency equal to or greater than required for the position applied.

- Other duties may include assisting in other areas or positions

- Must be available to work shifts specified by position and be flexible to potential overtime on weekend/holidays.

Shift hours vary by position

1st shift           5:00am to 1:30pm

2nd shift          2:00pm to 10:30pm

3rd shift          10:30pm to 6:00am

 

A shift       Sun-Wed, Sun-Tues 6:00am - 6:00pm

B shift       Thurs- Sat, Wed-Sat 6:00am - 6:00pm

C shift       Sun-Wed, Sun-Tues 6:00pm - 6:00am

D shift       Thurs- Sat, Wed-Sat 6:00pm - 6:00am

MAINTENANCE HELPER (1st Shift)

Clean offices and bathrooms. Wax floors and shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, and perform minor repairs in bathrooms. Basic painting, plumbing, and electrical. Some dry-wall repairs. Move furniture as needed. Perform basic gardening. Must have at least 1 year experience in maintenance. Starting Pay Rate: $12.78/hr

 

FABRICATION ASSEMBLER (1st Shift, 2nd Shift & Alt Shift Fri- Sun 6:00am - 6:00pm))

Primary duties include finishing detailed panel assembly and liners. Uses specifications, blue prints, mylar and work orders. Deburrs and cleans insert drill holes prior to insert installation. Applies adhesive to plugs/sleeves and panel prior to plug/sleeve installation. Prepares panel assemblies for edge fill operation. Mixes and applies edge-fill to the undercut of the panels. Hand routes with pneumatic hand router all detailed liners using the specified tool required. Basic PC Computer Skills required. Minimum composite score of 240 on the Wonderlic Basic Math Skill Test. $13.74/hr

 

LAY UP OPERATOR (2nd Shift)

Primarily responsible for laying up panels and liners prior to the work order to load and unload into the press and assembling precut material slices (Balsa, Aluminum, Nomex) into panels or liners. Will check core accuracy according to work order and that orders are properly signed off on. Prepare and stage all left over materials to be returned back to warehouse. Ensures all materials used are within shelf life requirements Makes sure housekeeping is being maintained and all containers are properly labeled. Basic PC Computer Skills required. Minimum composite score of 240 on the Wonderlic Basic Math Skill Test is required. $13.74/hr 

 

SAW OPERATOR (B Shift)

Responsible for cutting/slicing material according to specific product work instructions and GWI specifications.  Set up Saw for initial cut, check thickness and dimensions of first part produced.  Constantly check material for thickness and density.  Collects, calculates and records data necessary for proper quality and inventory maintenance.  Counts, cleans and covers up material after the order is completed. Must have minimum 1 year Manufacturing Experience. Forklift experience a plus. Acceptable Audiometry test results required. Minimum composite score of 240 on the Wonderlic Basic Math Skill Test is required. $13.74/hr

 

SHEETER STACKER (C & D SHIFT)

Stacks Nomex blocks using a caul sheet and stalking bar. Set up sheeter stacker machine. Loads required paper per work order. Runs block based on work order required, number plies and length. Inspects sheets for fold overs, contamination or any other foreign objects. Minimum composite score of 240 on the Wonderlic Basic Math Skill Test. Starting Pay Rate: $13.74/hr.

 

MATERIAL REPLENISHMENT COORDINATOR- FABRICATION (2nd Shift)

Strategically provides all materials via material cart to workcell team in partnership with the Production Lead and/or Fabrication Supervisor. In addition, coordinates similar assembly and identification operations to minimize waste and increase productivity.  Key role in ensuring workcell model is flowing smoothly. Ability to successfully work with Operations Engineering and quality representatives to drive continuous improvement; identify root causes and corrective action, and; participate in change management. To be successful in this role, the employee must have the ability to communicate, motivate, and drive the workcell team. Must have minimum 1 year related experience. Must have High school diploma and experience with ERP system. Minimum composite score of 265 on the Wonderlic Basic Math Skill Test. Starting Pay Rate: $15.38/hr.

 

SLICE DIP-COATING  OPERATOR TRAINEE (1st Shift)

Processes honeycomb slices/cores in a conveyor system and soaks them with resin. Removes dipped slices/cores and takes them to an oven to cure the resin, and then removing them from the oven to cool. Adds resin and alcohol to dip tanks as needed. Calculates and records the amount of alcohol and resin used per process. May also be tasked to dip blocks in the dipping area depending on production requirements. Forklift experience a plus. Acceptable Spirometry test results required. Minimum composite score of 265 on the Wonderlic Basic Math Skill Test is required. Starting Pay Rate: $15.38/hr.

 

FINAL INSPECTOR (2nd Shift)

Supports technicians/engineers with complex tasks and performs inspection of products, and performs essential duties to meet customer and AS9100 requirements. The position performs final inspections on products using internal documents (i.e.: GPS, GMS, GOS and GWI). This position also works on quality-related projects with direction from the Quality Manager. Must have minimum 1 year related experience. Must have High school diploma or GED. Minimum composite score of 265 on the Wonderlic Basic Math Skill Test is required. Acceptable Vision test results required.  Starting Pay Rate: $16.21/hr.

 

ASSISTANT QUALITY TECHNICIAN (1st OR 2nd Shift)

Supports technicians/engineers with complex tasks and performs basic testing/inspecting of products to ensure acceptability and functionality of manufactured goods.  The assistant technician uses test equipment to evaluate the materials or products and records data from test procedures and inspections.  The position performs inspections on incoming materials and reviews products using internal documents (i.e.: GPS, GMS, GOS and GWI). Must have minimum 1 year related experience. Must have High school diploma or GED. Minimum composite score of 265 on the Wonderlic Basic Math Skill Test is required. Acceptable Vision test results required.  Starting Pay Rate: $16.21/hr.

 

CNC OPERATOR / MACHINIST - Non- Metallic (2nd Shift & Alt Shift Fri- Sun 6:00am - 6:00pm)

Reviews setup sheet and specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence, and dimensions of finished work piece. Using machine controls, operator retrieves programs. Manipulates controls and enters commands to index cutting tool to specified set point and to start machine. Changes cutting tools and location of work piece during machining process as specified in setup instructions. Measures work piece for conformance to specifications. Notifies supervisor of discrepancies. Machines materials other than metal such as composites, plastic, and rubber. Check cutter size and wear. Also add edits to accommodate actual cutter diameter to prevent product not meeting tolerances. Must have minimum 1 year CNC machining experience. Minimum composite score of 265 on the Wonderlic Basic Math Skill Test required. $20.17/hr

 

CNC OPERATOR - PRECISION MACHINING (1st and 3rd Shift)

Reviews setup sheet and specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence, and dimensions of finished work piece. Using machine controls, operator retrieves programs. Manipulates controls and enters commands to index cutting tool to specified set point and to start machine. Changes cutting tools and location of work piece during machining process as specified in setup instructions. Measures work piece for conformance to specifications.
