- These positions work in a very fast paced environment.

- Must have English reading and verbal communication skills sufficient to read, understand and communicate company operating procedures and policies.

- Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.

- Must be able to demonstrate math proficiency equal to or greater than required for the position applied.

- Other duties may include assisting in other areas or positions

- Must be available to work shifts specified by position and be flexible to potential overtime on weekend/holidays.

- Shift and schedule may change as deemed necessary.

 

Shift hours vary by position

1st shift           5:00am to 1:30pm

2nd shift          2:00pm to 10:30pm

3rd shift          10:30pm to 6:00am

JOB OPENINGS

 

LAY UP OPERATOR (2nd Shift)

Primarily responsible for laying up panels and liners prior to the work order to load and unload into the press and assembling precut material slices (Balsa, Aluminum, Nomex) into panels or liners. Will check core accuracy according to work order and that orders are properly signed off on. Prepare and stage all left over materials to be returned back to warehouse. Ensures all materials used are within shelf life requirements Makes sure housekeeping is being maintained and all containers are properly labeled. Basic PC Computer Skills required. Minimum composite score of 240 on the Wonderlic Basic Math Skill Test is required. Starting Pay: 14.25/hr

 

FORKLIFT - MATERIAL HANDLER - ASSEMBLY (1st Shift)

Operates a forklift or utility cart to move and stage finished goods within the building, and delivers finished goods to shipping to maintain on-time delivery. Moves and transports material where needed. Prepares rotable containers/A-frames for shipping. Assists production control clerk with coordination of finished goods. Enters inventory transaction into computer for all issue, receipt and transfer material movements. Keep inventory of shipping containers and report issues. Must have Forklift experience and acceptable driving record. Minimum composite score of 240 on the Wonderlic Basic Math Skill Test is required. Starting Pay: 14.25/hr (may vary upon experience)

 

FORKLIFT - MATERIAL HANDLER - LAY UP (1st Shift)

Operates a forklift, makes set ups, maintains clean and organized building, transports finished goods and helps with housekeeping. Assists in making set ups for current and the arriving shift. Moves and transports materials within the plant. Ensure good housekeeping. Puts core in oven. Helps to prepare the next job for production. Cuts core to custom work orders. Prepare and stage materials to return to the warehouse. Enters inventory transaction into computer for all issue, receipt and transfer of material. Must have Forklift experience and acceptable driving record. Minimum composite score of 240 on the Wonderlic Basic Math Skill Test is required. Starting Pay: 14.25/hr (may vary upon experience)

 

PRECISION PART DETAILER (2nd Shift)

Trim core/slices to achieve dimensional and surface finish requirements. Additionally, operator to remove excessive material or fuzz to meet specs by utilizing a micro sander and mic table with tools such as sandpaper with varying grits. Constantly inspects thickness using mic table and ensures requirements are met. Calculates final density requirement after trimming. Count, ID, clean and cover up material after orders have been completed. Forklift experience a plus. Minimum composite score of 240 on the Wonderlic Basic Math Skill Test is required. Starting Pay: 14.25/hr

 

SLICE DIP-COATING  OPERATOR TRAINEE (2nd Shift)

Processes honeycomb slices/cores in a conveyor system and soaks them with resin. Removes dipped slices/cores and takes them to an oven to cure the resin, and then removing them from the oven to cool. Adds resin and alcohol to dip tanks as needed. Calculates and records the amount of alcohol and resin used per process. May also be tasked to dip blocks in the dipping area depending on production requirements. Forklift experience a plus. Acceptable Spirometry test results required. Minimum composite score of 265 on the Wonderlic Basic Math Skill Test is required. Starting Pay: 15.38/hr

 

CNC OPERATOR / MACHINIST - Non-Metallic (2nd Shift & Alt Shift Fri- Sun 6:00am - 6:00pm)

Reviews setup sheet and specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence, and dimensions of finished work piece. Using machine controls, operator retrieves programs. Manipulates controls and enters commands to index cutting tool to specified set point and to start machine. Changes cutting tools and location of work piece during machining process as specified in setup instructions. Measures work piece for conformance to specifications. Notifies supervisor of discrepancies. Machines materials other than metal such as composites, plastic, and rubber. Check cutter size and wear. Also add edits to accommodate actual cutter diameter to prevent product not meeting tolerances. Must have minimum 1 year CNC machining experience. Minimum composite score of 265 on the Wonderlic Basic Math Skill Test required. Starting Pay: $20.17/hr

 

CNC OPERATOR - PRECISION MACHINING - Metallic (2nd Shift)

Reviews setup sheet and specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence, and dimensions of finished work piece. Using machine controls, operator retrieves programs.
